North County Fire /EMS

North County Regional Fire Authority, known as “North County Fire/EMS,” provides fire suppression and emergency medical service.

North County Fire / EMS is comprised of five fire stations. The Department service area is approximately 110 square miles with an estimated population of over 24,000 residents. There are 23 career firefighters and approximately another 45 to 50 volunteer firefighters that help make up the core of the Department.

The most visible and valued services provided by North County Fire / EMS is our response to and control of emergency events that affect the citizens in the area in which we serve. North County Fire / EMS provides a variety of emergency services including:

  • Fire Suppression
  • Water Rescue
  • ALS/BLS Emergency Medical Services and Transport
  • Hazardous Materials Response
  • Public Information and Education
