The Stanwood Chamber of Commerce has a long history of working together with the community to make Stanwood one of the finest towns in Western Washington. The Chamber proudly sponsors several community events including the Port Susan Snow Goose & Birding Festival, Soap Box Derby, Farmers Market, Summer Concert Series, National Night Out Against Crime, An Old Fashioned Christmas and Light Up Your Holidays.
The purpose of these events is to draw people and hopefully customers into our community. The Stanwood Chamber of Commerce is a group of volunteers that collectively work together for the betterment of our community.

STANWOOD POLICE DEPARTMENT PLANNING OFFICE REMODEL

Effective December 10, 2014, the Stanwood Police Department business office doors will be closed for approximately three months while remodeling of the office is underway. For administrative purposes, the police department can still be reached through the main telephone line at 425-388-5290.

Patrol Officers will always be on duty; Residents and business owners should call 911 to report a crime or suspicious activity.

Since the office doors will be closed, the department will not be able to offer services such as fingerprinting, processing of Concealed Pistol License Applications or accepting medications for disposal.

Public Records Requests are always accepted and can be submitted via U.S. mail, fax, e-mail, website or phone.  The form is available on the city website at http://www.ci.stanwood.wa.us/forms 

For fingerprinting services, contact other law enforcement agencies in the area.

For concealed pistol licenses;

·         If you are within 90 days of your license expiration and you live in Stanwood, you may want to come in on a business day before the closure to renew.

·         Stanwood residence, you can apply at the Snohomish County Sheriff's Office in Everett.

·         Camano Island residents must contact the Island County Sheriff's Office.

For medication disposal; www.takebackyourmeds.org lists all drop-off locations in the state.
